Located to the far South of London with 2 terminals, North and South.

Stansted Airport:

Location: London Stansted airport is located 50.4 km (31.3 miles) north west of central London. Airport code: STN
Growing fast as an international Airport and home to many budget airlines. A single open-plan award terminal. Located to the North East of London.

Luton Airport:

Location: London Luton airport is located 44.3 km (27.5 miles) north of central London (W1, West End). Airport code: LTN
Once the poor man of the 4 major international London airports. Luton has grown rapidly with a new extension to its terminal and added facilities airside. Investment and work continues at Luton Airport. Located North of London.

There are also 3 other airports within the M25 orbital motorway which marks the modern boundary of London. They are Northolt Aerodrome,  Elstree Aerodrome and London Biggin Hill Airport.
Northolt is a military airport for the RAF but also handles civilian flights. Often where security is an issue for instance for the British Royals.
Elstree Elstree Aerodrome is a busy general aviation airfield. Around 120 aircraft including some privately owned are based at this airport.  The grounds cover 70 acres andthere is a 656 metre runway.
Biggin Hill have planes that can be chartered to anywhere in the world. The airfield is also famous for its annual air show which started in 1963 and can attract near to 100,000 spectators. Its actually the largest privately run Air Show in Europe.
